Aviation

  • Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (HJAIA), Atlanta, Georgia. Developed an airport wide
strategic Utilities Master Plan (UMP) program to evaluate the existing utilities infrastructure for the
$5.7B airport expansion program. The UMP identified deficiencies in the existing utility
infrastructure capacity, by performing a gap analysis between the current utility demand and the
forecast demand in the program year 2015. Evaluated alternatives in the utility systems expansion
by deploying financial tools, and identifying the most cost beneficial timing for the utility system
expansion expenditures. For new facilities the UMP forecasts the utility demands for these
facilities using programmatic modeling and sensitivity analysis.
  • Developed the first asset management module for the electrical assets at HJAIA utilizing the GIS database. The software was developed in two phases with a pilot approach, and located all electrical assets owned by the Department of Aviation in spatial, photographic and attributed approach.
  • Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Atlanta, Georgia. Directed and managed a facility
assessment and condition survey of the busiest airport in the world that included facility audits and
condition surveys, non-destructive testing, and a financial analysis of capital and operating cash flows
    for the next ten years.
  • Evaluated and consulted on the Maintenance Management system (Maximo) for the Department of Aviation Maintenance operations at HJAIA, and implemented training and development policies and procedures.
  • Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Los Angeles, California. Assisted in the development of
an airport wide Building Management System for the $7.6B airport expansion program.
  • Initiated, developed policies, processes and procedures for an airport wide Asset Management System for the existing facilities at HJAIA and developed the first GIS based software module for the electrical assets at the airport.
  • Executed an airport wide supply and demand energy analysis at HJAIA for 5.5 million square foot facilities, evaluated and audited airport facilities for energy usage, renegotiated seven utility electrical supply contracts resulting in $250K savings annually, and identified equipment changes in the central plants and HVAC operations resulting in over $750K in annual savings. http://www.docstoc.com/docs/91420492/cap10airportsurvey
  • Evaluated aviation fueling facilities at Boston Logan International Airport for Delta Airlines. Implemented improvements in storage, pumping and control facilities.
  • Developed a comprehensive apron storm water and fuel management system for San Francisco International Airport (SFO).
  • Consulted with the NY Port Authority on fuel capture facilities and systems for John F. Kennedy (JFK) and LaGuardia International Airports, performed audits and developed remediation systems for fuel recovery.
